Elementary School Reading Carnival

Please scroll down for the video interview with Michelle Murphy.
Library Volunteer Coordinator was the best job in the PTA. All I had to do was find a few parents who loved seeing their kids at school for a half an hour a week and set them on a schedule. Well, it may have been a little more involved than that, but it gave me a free pass to spend as much time in the school library as I wanted. Which of course, all parents can do anyway, but it helped me feel more legit.
It should be no surprise that I think librarians have one of the most enviable jobs on the planet. So to help get my new website off the ground, I have an interview with a fantastic librarian to share with you. Michelle Murphy has only been in the “business” for three years, but she jumped in with both feet and has made a big splash at Nottingham Elementary School with her innovative Reading Carnival.

I really enjoyed looking through your website and listening to your interview with Michelle Murphy. You’ve got something for everyone – kids, teachers, librarians, and writers. I also enjoyed reading about you and seeing what books you like to read.
