  1. THE DISTANCE TO HOME sounds fabaulous. It reminds me of the MG I’m currently reading: MAYBE A FOX, also about a girl whose elder sister has passed (or gone missing, I still haven’t found out which for sure).

  2. Yes, it’s fascinating how differently authors handle a similar topic. Kathi Appelt and Alison McGhee’s MAYBE A FOX is magical and heartbreaking. I’m guessing Jenn Bishop’s THE DISTANCE TO HOME leans more toward heartwarming with a bit of fun. I’m looking forward to reading it.
