HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!
I am fortunate to be celebrating our our nation’s independence today with a big family gathering. Whether your celebration is big or small, I wish everyone a joyful Fourth of July.
Here’s the news for this week:

Rebecca Nolen will be signing her MG novel THE DRY along with Denise Ditto who will be signing THE TOOTH COLLECTOR FAIRIES: BATINA’S BEST FIRST DAY.
THE DRY is a children’s historical fantasy that combines the awful truths of the mining world in 1895 West Virginia with an adventure story about a boy who goes on a search for his father and discovers a world underground overrun with giant insects. Some insects are good, some are bad, and some are plain ugly.
BATINA’S BEST FIRST DAY: A well-brushed tooth makes fairy dust … In the magical land of Brushelot, it is Batina’s first day collecting teeth. She is determined that her humongous wings will not interfere with her mission. She collects her tooth, secures it in her pouch, and returns home to have the tooth inspected. Unfortunately, her wings cause her to tumble, and the tooth gets lost. Batina must call on her best friends, Lainey and little Lulu, to work together to save the day.
