A Better Mouse Supply List

Mice are a staple of my animal collections. You can’t have too many mice, at least not the needle felted variety!
Depending on which type of fur and other ornamentation they can be part of the House Collection, the Garden Collection, The Woodland Collection, and the Moonlight Collection. There are no mice in the Lake Collection but there is a rat!
This supply list is particularly for those who have taken my “A Better Mouse” workshop and would like to make more mice. If you have taken my workshop, you should have a print-out of the tutorial, but if you need a replacement, contact me. Most in-person workshops are available through The Tomball Art League.
Links to supplies I have used for this mouse are below. These are not affiliate links; they’re just here as a convenience for anyone who would like to make these mice.

SUGGESTED SUPPLIES
To save on shipping costs, you might prefer to order supplies from one vendor. My top three sites for needle felting supplies are Weir Crafts, Sarafina Fiber Art, and Living Felt. Here I have listed wool I’ve used from each of these vendors for this particular project.
I have used needles from all three. I recommend buying needles only from sites that also sell wool for needle felting, like the three listed here. Needles from other sources can be rusty, oily, or brittle.
All three of my preferred vendors offer felting pads of some sort, but my favorite for small to medium projects is this 8″x8″x1″ wool pad made in the USA, and here is a more budget-friendly imported version. Weir Crafts does not sell armature wire, but the wire you’ll need is available on Amazon, and I’ve linked to them on My Needle Felting Toolbox page.
