A number of people have asked me to include a list of MFA programs specific to writing for children and young adults. This list seems small with a lopsided concentration in the northeast, but I will continue to seek out these programs and post them as I find find them. I’ve heard some universities award MFA’s in creative writing with a concentration in writing for children and young adults, but I will only list universities whose websites confirm these programs.

If you know of an MFA program in writing for young readers I have not included, please send me a note through my Contact page.
