Standing Fawn Supply List

Needle felted doe and two fawns

In semi-rural Texas, fawn season is an annual delight. Tiny ones are found stashed in flowerbeds, under bushes, and even on the porch. Its fun to watch these beautiful little creatures grow, even if they do eat all my flowers.

My only workshop for deer so far is the Standing Fawn. This list is mostly for those who have taken the in-person workshop and would like to make more fawns. If you have taken my workshop, you should have a print-out of the tutorial, but if you need a replacement, contact me. Most in-person workshops are available through The Tomball Art League.

Links to supplies I have used for this fawn are below. These are not affiliate links; they’re just here as a convenience for anyone who would like to make these sweet fawns.

As mentioned elsewhere on this site, I prefer to buy wool from three main suppliers: Sarafina Fiber Arts (SF), Weir Crafts (WC), and Living Felt (LF). I have occasionally had good luck with other vendors, but I have also had terrible luck. These three are consistently good and between these three I usually find everything I need.
